We’re having another Northern Region Weekend in Newcastle, this time combined with our Children’s Christmas Picnic for what promises to be a weekend full of fun!The picnic will be held on Saturday 22 November with the option of staying overnight for more activities on the Sunday.
The Children’s Christmas Picnic starts at 11:00am and will finish at approximately 3:00pm. This is held at Blackbutt Reserve, Richard Riley Reserve, Freyberg Street, New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle).
Please bring your own picnic lunch and drinks, and a present for Santa to give children up to the value of $20.00 (children ages 12 and under). There will also be games and a treasure hunt for the kids.
During the evening a dinner will be held at Warner’s at the Bay at 6:00pm followed by ten pin bowling next door for the young ones while those who are over 18 can listen to a band at the Tavern.
On Sunday 23 November (from 10:00am – 12:00 noon) we will be holding a morning of sports for everyone, no matter what sporting ability. There’s going to be a range of sports, so come along! (Costs for sports to be confirmed.)
