Our next Northern Region weekend starts today! We’re starting the weekend off with an afternoon of sports at Charlestown Indoor Sports Centre (2/314 Hillsborough Rd, Warners Bay NSW 2282) from 2-4pm. We’ll be playing a variety of sports including indoor cricket, boccia and soccer. The sports are for all ages and all abilities – everyone’s welcome to join in or just come and watch. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per family, payable at the centre.
This evening, we’ll meet at Warner’s at the Bay (320 Hillsborough Rd, Warners Bay) at 6pm for dinner, possibly followed by bowling or laser tag form 8 pm, or the over 18’s can stay at Warner’s to enjoy the band.
Tomorrow, we’ll be holding our annual SSPA NSW Children’s Christmas picnic at Richley Recreation Reserve, Freyberg Street, New Lambton. We’ll be meeting at the Kookaburra Shelter from 11am-3pm. Santa will be arriving at about 1pm, please bring a gift for your children (12 and under) up to the value of $20. There will be a Treasure Hunt for the kids, and games for everyone. Please bring a picnic and drinks. There are barbeque facilities on site.
Most of us will be staying at Warner’s at the Bay on the Saturday night.
