Our Northern Region weekend and Children’s Christmas Picnic is coming up on the weekend of Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December 2017! We’re starting the weekend off with an afternoon of sports at Charlestown Indoor Sports Centre (2/314 Hillsborough Rd, Warners Bay NSW 2282) from 2-4pm on Saturday. We’ll be playing a variety of sports including indoor cricket, boccia and soccer. The sports are for all ages and all abilities – everyone is welcome to join in or just come and watch. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per family, payable at the centre.
In the evening, we’ll meet at Warner’s at the Bay (320 Hillsborough Rd, Warners Bay) at 6pm for dinner, followed by bowling from 8pm, or the over 18’s can stay at Warner’s to enjoy the band.
On Sunday, we’ll be holding our annual SSPA NSW Children’s Christmas picnic at Blackbutt Reserve (Richard Riley Entrance), Freyberg Street, New Lambton. We’ll be meeting at the Kookaburra Shelter from 11am-3pm. Santa will be arriving at about 1:30pm, please bring a gift for your children (12 and under) up to the value of $25. There will be a Treasure Hunt for the kids, and games for everyone. Please bring a picnic and drinks. There are barbeque facilities on site.
